hey people of G.A. i am kathryn in 8B, and i am reading new moon 1 of the series of twilight and it is a really gooooooood book and i think taht you guys should read the twlight series, the series are non-fiction and most people in G.A think that book club is really boring but it saves you from going outside in the winter and freezzing your butt off, and also to read a book.
Hi violet,i'm Gemma. I've read twilight too. I love it, and if you love it as much as I love it, then you'll also love City Of Ashes by Cassandra Clare.
Clary Fray just wishes that her life would go back to normal. But what's normal when you're a demon slaying shadowhunter your mother is in a magically induced coma and you can suddenly see downworlders like werewolves, vampires, and fairies? This is the gripping sequel to City of Bones. I can't put it down, and any fan of twilight should post it on their book list!
book club ROCKS!

(jest like us)
Hello, I'm Gemma, and yes I'm a bookworm. I just finished City Of Ashes, which is the second book in the Mortal Instruments trilogy. It is my favorite book because you really get to know the charactors and about their personallities. My favorite charactors are Alec, Magnus, and Jace. Each of these characters is different but they all have good hearts. If you're a fan of suspence, action, fantasy, and romance, then you'll love this book! It's about these underworld police called Shadowhunters, who have to keep the human world rid of demons. Each character has their own problems that get talngled into the big one. I couldn't stop reading! I love fantasy, but this was more a mixture of action and a bit of magic and romance throne in. you can google the book to know more about it, but I highly recomend it. I could spen hours talking about every detail of this book but I want it to be a surprise! IT IS SO GOOD!!!!!!!!!
Hey my name is Danijel Bozic and i love books. When i read a book i really think about how the author is trying to tell us what is really going on. the books i really love are mostly Goosebump books becaues they are really interasting and they give some people suspence. But i also love twilight. Now i know im a boy but it is really good and interasting book to read.
I have just foudn out about GAB Book Club. I am very impressed, and I am a member of a book club myself and love it. I know that many GAB students love reading, and I hope that lots of people participate in the GAB Book Club.
Hey people from G.A Brown. I read the book twilight and I also watched the movie.I think its a summary of the book except with not as much detail. I didnt like the movie alot. I thought it was okay...A way to improve it is to add more detail and make it more intersting.
the new goosebumps horrerland is awsome! Did you know conecting the back of each book from right to left,"book 1" to "one day at horrorland"will create "map tokens"
and 2 seacret messeges!!!
Hey, my name's Gemma. (I'm the one who's been raving about City of Bones) well, I e-mailed the author and she e-mailed me back! Here's our convo:
I Write:
Hello Ms. Clare! I am such a big fan of City of Bones! My name is Gemma Kutertan, I am 12 (13 in June), and I LOVE your work. Please, please, please spoil your book for me, and tell me if Jace and Clary end up together. Ever since I finished City of Ashes (six months ago) I have trying to find out if they end up together This is my absolute favourite series, and despite how awesome Sebastian looks, Clary CANNOT fall for him!!!!!! Jace can be stubborn at times, but he loves Clary so much, don't do it! I will cry forever if Clary and Jace don't end up together! You seem like such a nice person, please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm curious...you seemed to drop a few hints, like: when Jace and Clary are in the Fairy court, and the queen asks Jace to ask his father what blood runs through his veins, and when the inquisitor says,( when she sees Jace's scar) 'But that means that-' and then she dies...very cruel to your viewers, but extremely exciting. (I stood there, on the spot, in shock when that happened. I kept on saying That's it? She just dies? But what did she mean? Over, and over. I really like things like that, it makes you keep reading.
I love Jace and Clary, but i think my favourite characters are Alec and Magnus. I read what you wrote in your 'interview' (that's how I got how to contact you) and I think it's so amazing that just because you created the character, doesn't mean that you know everything about the character. It's brilliant! I find it's like that a lot of the time with my characters as well. Alec and Magnus are so cute together, but I got a bit confused with Alec's feeling. Is that supposed to happen? I really like him with Magnus, but it seems like he's still in love with Jace...is that right, or is it just me?
One thing I really like about the way you pieced your books together, is how they're quick paced. I'm a very picky reader-I loved Twilight, Spiderwick, Eragon, Inkheart, etc. but I had a few comments-yours, nothing, perfect in every way possible Some stories take a long time to unfold, but you got right into the action! When I was first reading City of Bones, I was so intrigued, I couldn't put it down! My mom had to call me nine times for pizza, and then snatch away the book, just as Clary came face to face with the demon in her apartment!!!!! i was so hooked! (I finished the two books in less than two days)!
I'm so excited to be e-mailing you! I think your work is simply beautiful, and I hope that you know that. I also hope to get a reply from you, but understand if your too busy. I can't wait for City of Glass, and hope you can give me some in site on the whole Jace and Clary romance. (Forget Sebastien! Jace has feelings too! ) much appreciated if you get, read, and reply to this!
Cassandra Clare Writes:
Dear Gemma,
Thank you so much for writing to tell me you're enjoying the Mortal Instruments books so far. I appreciate how passionate you are about Jace and Clary (although it would be too late for me to make any changes to the next book if I were inclined to!) and I think you seem like a very good reader who notices lots of small details. I think that means you will enjoy City of Glass, when all those hints pay off! I hope you'll let me know if you enjoyed it once you're done.
Cassie
(So there you go! It's so cool to write an author and get a reply! If you take my high advice and read the Mortal Instument seires then you can e-mail Cassandra Clare at: cassandraclare@gmail.com)
WOW.....I think I should join the BookClub. I am really going to have to read some of the books you mentioned Gemma. I think I will take a few to my cottage and read them this summer.
My cousin's niece was reading some of them this past summer and I remember her being very excited about them......she couldn't put them down either.
Thank you for your enthusiasm.....I will have to get reading!!
